Mark ten Veen is a self-taught composer and musician. He did not had any kind of education in music. All the knowledge he has, came by the experience of playing the piano. His compositions characterize as emotional piano music, sometimes assisted by other instruments like a violin. But all his music has one thing in common, it touches your hearth. He gets his inspiration from other pianists, like: Michael Nyman, Brain Crain, Bill Douglas and Yiruma. Also is he influenced by musicians like; Enya, Sercret Garden, Mike Oldfield, Vangalis etc.. At an age of 17 he discovered the power of making music. He first started with playing piano. In the following years he also learned how to play acoustic-guitar, electric-guitar and bass-guitar. Now, at an age of 25, he occasionally perform at special occasions like weddings and funerals. He is now in the progress of creating a 1 hour concert, with is own compositions.
