Artist
Hoang Tran has played piano for over ten years, but only started writing music three years ago. HIs compositions on piano fit somewhere between modern classical artists such as Max Richter and post-rock artists such as Eluvium and Sigur Ros. He has released two different works: an extended piece named Anitquus Esse Volo, and a full length album named Portraits from Dix Hill. He also has a collection of unreleased demos. Portraits from Dix Hill was written and recorded in a whirlwind session on January 26th, 2009 (with the exception of the song Nighttime at Fletcher I, which was written sometime in October of 2008). Expect another album sometime in 2009. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
