Artist & Musician Mariana Martin born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Ipanema Brazil. Influenced by Antonio Carlos Jobim and Joao Gilberto she specializes in playing acoustic Bossa Nova but is also an amazing Blues & jazz singer. She attended jazz school in the US, LA, Dick Grove School of Music and Brazil, The Brazilian Music Conservatory. She is now based in Miami where she performs in local jazz venues. Discography includes: Bossa Nova "The Girl from Ipanema", Lounge: Brazilian Forbidden Fruit, Children's music: "Tropical Lullaby" & Brazilian Chill out: "Futurezon". Her next project will be an acoustic album featuring her vocals and ability to sing in different styles. Janis Joplin song "Mercedes bens" will be included in this project which will be a musical soulful expression of her life story.
