Brazilian Voices evolved out of a vocal technique workshop organized by Beatriz Malnic and Loren Oliveira, in 2001. Malnic and Oliveira, both trained professional singers with solid backgrounds in music and drama, offered vocal technique and singing lessons to their local community. The enthusiastic response led them to form Brazilian Voices in Florida and now extended abroad. The directors have brought together a cast of talented singers, many of them coming from South American countries with professional artistic backgrounds.
