Maria Christensen is a powerful performer and a strong-voiced singer/songwriter whose songs have been recorded by artists such as Céline Dion ("Just a Little Bit of Love" - Originally recorded by Maria and featured on her debut album), N'Sync and Jennifer Lopez ("Waiting for Tonight"). She is a member of the duo Sequal. Christensen's music combines elements of rock, pop and R&B. Billboard magazine remarked "This petite young woman vamps and belts with the bravado and earthy soul of a seasoned old-school diva. In 1993 Atlantic released her stunning self-titled debut album, which features the single 'I've Got To Find A Way'. She composed this moving pop ballad with Jeff Franzel, who has written for everybody from Phyllis Hyman to N'Sync to Taylor Dayne.
