Grew up close to Darmstadt, studied accordion with Hugo Noth and with Matti Rantanen at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. She has performed with solo recitals and as chamber musician in many European countries, travelled to the USA and South Korea. She plays as a guest at musikFabrik NRW, oh Ton-Ensemble. She has performed at Romanischer Sommer Köln, Forum of New Music (DLF), Ultraschall and many other festivals. She combines a lively collaboration with numerous contemporary composers whose works she premieres. In her own projects, she is initiating new works for accordion. Numerous radio portraits illustrate this specialization. In 2005 she released her first solo CD entitled "Heart", followed by "TWO" and "mirror".
