Mar Seck is a singer of salsa from Senegal. According to Matt Yanchyshyn from the audio blog Benne loxo du taccu, Mar Seck played with the band Etoile de Dakar, Youssou Ndour’s original Dakar band before it reformed as the Super Etoile. He is apparently quite popular inside of Senegal but he has little international recognition at this time.
