making eyes at elvis formed in the summer of 2004. They are a three piece consisting of piano, bass and drums. They began gigging in venues around the Shotley Peninsular and Ipswich under the name charlie brown. They recorded their first EP [operation persuasion] in early 2005 with recording time they won from a battle of the bands. Rave reviews have enabled them to travel as far as Manchester to play In The City 2005. They have also recorded tracks for BBC Suffolk and have received air play on local radio stations. They changed their name to making eyes at elvis in April 2006. A second EP entitled Why Cats Hate Water was released in the summer of 2007. However, due to upcoming university commitments, the band officially played their last show on the 14th August 2007 at the Steamboat Tavern in Ipswich.
