The brainchild of Edmonton based singer-songwriter Evan van Ramshorst, "Magnet and The Magnettes" is a constantly evolving musical machine tackling any territory van Ramshorst dives in to. With influences of folk, rock, blues, and jazz Magnet and The Magnettes is quickly becoming an Edmonton powerhouse. Kicking off in 2011 as a solo acoustic endevour "The Magnettes" have grown in to a two piece alternative rock outfit, recruiting Eric Bishop on drums. The sound of the band is now fuller and more realized than ever before, this is proven on their new EP "City of Ghosts".
