The artist were born in El Paso Texas, Joe and Julian Ganem started the band in 1967 when they went to Mexico City to record a single with MUSART label in those days Musart was a sister company to Liberty Records, the single did not do good ( Arriba Petra and an instrumental ES Obvio) the following year they went back and recorded El Esquimal and the rest is history they recorded over 145 singles and 7 LP'S.
