Little Ice Age were a melodic indie 4 piece from Adelaide, Australia. Their first release was a self-recorded and self-titled EP near the end of 2005, with the band subsequently being selected to perform at the 2006 Adelaide Big Day Out. Little Ice Age enjoyed a favoured status on local broadcaster 3D (www.threedradio.com). This support led to the national youth broadcaster triple J (www.abc.net.au/triplej) picking them up, and the track "Learn to Forget" even recieved regular rotation on local commercial radio. The band played support shows for acts such as Youth Group, Sarah Blasko, Dappled Cities Fly, Starky, Blue Bottle Kiss, Josh Pyke and Preston's School of Industry. Little Ice Age announced a new EP and their final gig in August 2007. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
