Lie Lie Sister was a Latvian indie rock band formed in 2010 in Rīga, Latvia. The band had no bias against conservative elements of rockcompositions. Its members' different musical influences and uncertainty led to the musical efforts to reconcile seemingly incompatible colors - aggressive and loud guitars, and dreamy, melodic singing. In relatively short period of time Lie Lie Sister managed to play considerable number of concerts, including to win the contest Open Mike, that resulted to climbing one of the Positivus Festival '10 stages, which remains as a point of reference for the active work of the band. They split up in 2013. Members: Armands Eidiņš - guitars, vocals; Didzis Upens - guitars, synthesizers; Kristaps Kupšāns - bass; Augusts Zilberts - drums, backing vocals. http://www.facebook.com/lieliesister User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
