Lars and the Magic Mountain is a space rock band based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, fronted by Lars Kroon, who previously gained indie rock succes with Go Back To The Zoo. Their sound has been described as drones, spacey, symphonic, hypnotic and lush, with songs about devotion, honesty and loyalty. Their début album, Everything Looks Good From Here came out in October 2020. In 2021 Kroon changed the name of the project into Toverberg. All recordings released under the Lars and the Magic Mountain moniker are now listed on streaming services under the new name.
