Lapillus (라필루스) is a 6-member girl group formed and managed under MLD Entertainment. The group members consists of: Shana, Chanty, Yue, Bessie, Seowon and Haeun. They made their debut on June 20, 2022 with the single "HIT YA!". Shana was a J-Group contestant on Girls Planet 999. She placed 16th overall in the show. Chanty was a former actress who was under Star Magic in the Philippines and is Filipino-Argentinian. At the age of 13, Haeun was the youngest person to ever debut in a girl group (excluding child groups). On September 22, 2022, Lapillus released their first EP "GIRL's ROUND Pt. 1" and lead singles "GRATATA" and "Burn With Love". On June 21, 2023, they released their second EP "GIRL's ROUND Pt. 2" and the lead single "Who's Next". On August 2, 2022, they made their debut in Japan with the Japanese version of "Who's Next". On April 5, 2024, MLD Entertainment announced that Chanty will be taking an indefinite hiatus due to being diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome. Due to reported financial and operational difficulties at MLD Entertainment, it been assumed that Lapillus silently disbanded in early 2024, although no official announcement has been made.
