LEX the Lexicon Artist is the stage name of Alex Sun Liu, a Taiwanese-American rapper-songwriter inspired by internet culture, their Asian-American upbringing, and fandom culture, exploring the gamut of the human experience through a bold and irreverent lens. LEX began making music under the Lexicon Artist name in 2016, shortly after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley. Since then, they have toured across the US supporting artists like mc chris, MC Lars, Dual Core, Schaffer the Darklord, and other heavyweights in the nerdcore rap scene. LEX has made mainstage appearances at anime, gaming, and tech conventions like SXSW (Austin, TX), MAGFest (National Harbor, MD), and Fanimecon (San Jose).
