The secret irony of LA Dice was that it found life in Boston, Massachusetts. It seemed completely determined by fate, a roll of the dice, that each Los Angeles brutalizer moved to Boston for their own individual purpose and to venture the world a bit more. Boston, I don't know why, was the destination that harvested the likes of Lil' Thumper, Chad Pedxing, Mikey Z, K-Dawg, Metzy, Ian Hawk, and even a couple more peripherals. Ultimately, it made us tighter than we ever were in LA. By winter 2000, LT and KD found themselves in a predicament. Big jackets, icy streets, and biten ears was no way to thrash. Without a doubt, LA Dice would have to live if we were to survive. So we tried out a few names, Crystal Castle, Power Thrash, Splatterhouse, Skull Throne, before a fade away would inject LA Dice, arguably a title shared by Mikey Z or Lil' Thumper. They did argue about it for a bit. hahah... So LA Dice, when we were just Skull Throne, ofted on its mission, to grind down the living rooms. Our first target was Firstimer's roommate, Joe Grillo. We recorded an ep in his "toy room", on his tape deck, on his keyboard, on his guitar, and on stripper buds. He was actually pissed. By the time LA Dice was really ready to record, after Chad's "go ahead", Mikey Z strapped us down on pro-tools to create our first 1 song ep Sealand. We had recorded versions of it before and passed it out to interested fellows, but this is the only one I can recall officially. dang. Anyway, once we got the word
