Kulturmelk have become epitomizers in the Norwegian underground-indie-scene. From their humble beginnings in 2020, they finally let go and made major roster shake-ups before letting the music take off. Kulturmelk is: Håkon Haarseth-Hansen, the notorious guitarist from Re. Before, Re was known for its endless forests, but he scalped the municipality with his fast and finesse-based guitar playing, transforming Re into the field-filled agricultural utopia that we know today. Ida Ingeborg Dueland, also known as Tjøme's swan, plays bass and sings in the band. An old folk saying about Ida: "Her voice makes even the toughest Tjømling cry, and her bass skills make Tjømes many islets drift to sea." The combination of these two characteristics is the entire basis of Kulturmelk Jonah Sebastian Vangen fills two roles in Kulturmelk, namely Guitar and Keys. His guitar playing rejoices in melodic lines and extended harmonies. His synth-playing is characterized by FM synthesis and synthesizers that really should have been retired a lifetime ago. His background from Holmestrand and port-town life gives his tones, whether on a Jx8p or a Fender Jaguar, a seasick element (boss Super Chorus & Tech 21 bass chorus) Jens Borøy Henschien is the prince of rhythms. Tønsbergs nightlife with all its rhythms and impulses have given him god-like knowledge of hammering the skins. His expertise in the art of percussion creates perhaps one of the most stable foundations in the Norwegian music industry! -
