KLEEMAR Kleemar is not your ordinary musician. He's a persona that has created his own unique view on the world of music making, partly thanks to him perceiving subtle messages in Aerosmith songs and using Atari products. It would be wrong to label Kleemar as (just) an IDM or electronica artist. These words bear no real substance, other than Kleemar being close to the sounds of Warp and Morr Music records! Therefore, the label 'allrounder' is far more suitable and better describes Kleemar's perception and intake of music from allover. His instruments are keys and buttons, whether synth keys, computer keyboard keys or drum machine buttons – these are the devices that encourage Kleemar to start making his own music (in the year 2000). After six years of active work, Kleemar has played numerous club and festival gigs, he has collaborated with a world renown choreographer Matjaž Farič and a young theatre director Luka Škof (individually with each, of course). The music on Kleemar's recordings sounds precise, clear and very detailed. Kleemar's music is embellished with his excellent sense for rhythm, ear-caressing melodies, his innovative and unique feeling for recycling something that's been heard before into his very own >Kleemarian< audio image.
