Four piece Kill the Fake Patient formed in New Zealand in late 2004 and although comprising of members from Lower Hutt and West Auckland, they are currently based in Dunedin due to them all studying at Otago University. Their sound is unique and defies instant categorisation, however can be included in the loosely coined punk/hardcore genre. They have been known for their chaotic and energetic stage show, which saw them win Otago University's battle of the bands competition.
