A: The idea of Kiero started to form in the fall of '06, when we were not-so-happy with the way things were going in our other music-projects. On the 15 of October 2006 the first jam-session was held, and it showed us, yet again, that playing could be fun. Kiero was born. Q: Who, what and where? A: Kiero comes from Helsinki, Finland. Antti takes care of the singing. Toni took the bass and promised to also sing. Kari plays the lead guitar, and if you can hear keyboards every now and then, blame this man. Jesse sits behind the drums and wonders if he's already paid his phone bill... Q: What kind of? A: Everyone always says that it's not that easy to categorize their music, we don't agree. Our genre is: Simple-Melancholic-Guitarbased-Indie-Punk-Rock. Influences are taken anywhere, and as we all come from such different musical backgrounds, the mix that we make is a personal blend. Q: What does Kiero mean? A: We are well aware that Kiero in Spanish means "i want" or "i love", but that has very little to do with our name. Kiero comes from Finnish word that means "twisted".
