"Clocks Run Too Fast In September" must be the quickest name ever been picked up for a band. Group of three young men, while tasting some cheap red wine on a late night of June 2006, were thinking what could possibly be the most "emo" name for a band and "CRTFIS" popped out in about 2 minutes. These guys share pretty similar musical interests and opinions according to what the music of CRTFIS should sound like. Only a week later they held their first training session and all of them were pretty amazed how soon the playing started to work. A week from the first session fourth member joined the band and they started training regularly on Sunday afternoons. Growing up in the 90's these guys have been witnessing the glory seasons of modern metal, alternative rock and grunge, british rock and post rock. All of these genres have left stainmarks on them and some of can be heard in the music they now create. The music of CRTFIS is inspired by artists like Death Cab For Cutie, Sunny Day Real Estate, Fugazi, At The Drive-In and many many others, but the variety in the musictastes and musical backgrounds of the bandmembers keep CRTFIS from sounding like a cheap copy of these influencing bands. The main elements in CRTFIS are jazzy percussions played with groovy basslines which then are combined to rocking guitars and catchy vocals. The music of CRTFIS could be described alternative or emotional rock, but after all the genre doesn't really tell a thing about the music itself. You need to
