Artist
Kieran is a native of North Wales, Pennsylvania, a little suburb of the city of Philadelphia. He moved to Chicago in the fall of 2015 to pursue music, theatre, film, improv, and an English Creative Writing degree from Loyola Chicago. He brings his musical theatre sensibilities to his songwriting and performance, which is largely inspired by Frank Turner, Fake Problems, The Smith Street Band, and Jack Johnson. His first five song release "Jasmine and Me EP" came out in 2014 and is available on bandcamp. His sophomore attempt "Scary Sunday" was intended as a demo. Embracing the acoustic troubadour style, he recorded nine songs in an hour and forty minutes at Fat Tongue Studios in Logan Square, Chicago and it is set to release as his first full length album on May 7th. Kieran works around Chicago as an actor, singer, and musician. In addition to his own music, Kieran plays drums, writes and sings with Zachary Stevenson and Day Off.
