Kedder Avant is an indie rock band with members from Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor that creates and performs infectious guitar driven pop songs about girls, god, vampires, and global warming among other things. Their sound has been described this way: “If The Beatles and The Pixies had a lovechild who then punched Elvis Costello in the face… that love child would be Kedder Avant.” Kedder Avant released the first single “Auburn” from their upcoming full length album “Sky is Falling” in March of 2012. The song quickly jumped to #1 on Radio Opie’s “People’s Choice Countdown” for the week ending 3/23/2012 and has remained in the top 10 ever since. The upcoming full length album “Sky is Falling” is scheduled to be released on July 10, 2012 on Mast Records. Both the single and the album were recorded and mixed at Big Sky Recordings in Ann Arbor. Big Sky has also worked with such notable Michigan bands as “Great Lakes Myth Society,” “The Hard Lessons,” and “The Finer Things.” Kedder Avant is: David A.
