Kasium is Kieran Cooper, Chris Birch and Paul Braddock. Formed in 2008, they have self-released an album, an EP, and two music videos and are becoming known for energetic live performances through playing regularly in the Auckland area. They have performed live to air on 95Bfm and received some airtime on NZ radio stations as well as C4’s Homegrown show for their music videos ‘Drowned’ & ‘So Electric’. Their releases to date have been received warmly in the press: “‘Premonition’ is sludgy and divine; undoubtedly heavy it is still warm, familiar and easy to listen to.
