Karwan Osman was a Kurdish singer and musician who was born in Slemani in 1968. He is known for his songs, lyrics, and his guitar playing. His songs are romantic, sad, and patriotic. He was arrested in 1989 and was executed in 1991 by the Ba'ath Regime. His songs were released after the 1991 Kurdish uprising in the late 1990s.
