Kajinaga Daishi began to sing with bands at age sixteen in Himeji, Japan. After cover bands Zil and Mascara, he and his childhood friend Akeda Tatsuya (Lida) formed a unit and began a band called MYU around 1996. Atter MYU disbanded, they formed Psycho le Cemu in 1999 with the remnants of local bands, Isabelle and Sculp. Psycho le Cemu set out to become the flashiest band in the Visual Kei music scene. Their original costumes and skits drew attention and their charm and talent created a loyal fan base, noted for Daishi’s melodic voice and honest, enthusiastic nature, and Lida’s solid songwriting. Members Yura-SAMA, seek, and AYA also had devoted fans. Psycho le Cemu went major in 2002. The demands of a major label began to drain the members, both physically and creatively. Constantly on tour or recording, including two wildly successful U.S. tours, and having to change their concepts several times a year, Psycho le Cemu struggled to hold onto their original vision. In late 2004, the members decided to pursue side projects as a temporary break. Daishi released a single, 実録 少年犯罪奇科学 (Jitsuroku Shonen Hanzai Kikagaku), which was produced by Miya from MUCC, the title track also composed by Miya. During his first solo tour in 2005 (with support musicians Nao from S.Q.F, KATO HIROKI from Hiroshima, and MAEKAWA SHINGO from Snag), Daishi was arrested for violating the Stimulant control law, eventually receiving a suspended sentence. Following the release of a final album and tour
