Playing piano since 4 years old, her passion in music has never left. She hears sounds that are uniquely to her own. In this life to the world of sounds, she interprets everything she hears, real and imaginary, and shares her story and interpretation through music. "If I can get one person to understand and connect how I felt at that time in my life, then the journey is also theirs which I think is beautiful. I love sharing my story and personally connecting to people that hear, see, and feel the way I am...." Kitty Pae started hearing voices in her early 20s and writes music as a way of therapy. There is a need of sharing her journey of life and to help connect people similarly to her. "I want people to know I am who I am, and no one can take that away from me. Hence, my songs are truly my diaries, a reflection of my feelings - a reflection of my life and I want to share them." Kitty Pae has gained multiple music scholarships including at Vanderbilt's Blair School of Music in Nashville and holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. Using her technical skills, she combines this with her classical training in music theory & composition to create her pieces using Ableton Live and a midi keyboard. She is ranked #1 regionally in the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Area, #5 Nationally (USA) and #7 Globally in the Ambient, Electronica genres on Reverbnation.
