Kōya Ogata

Kōya Ogata is a Japanese musician and tin whistler, born in Miyagi prefecture on June 17, 1980. He was part of the band THE CHERRY COKE$ between 2000 - 2014, and has appeared in various music festivals throughout the country, including COUNT DOWN JAPAN / FUJIROCK FESTIVAL. He started his music activities as a solo artist in 2017, focusing on Minimal Music/Post classical/Environmental Music. In November 2017, in New York, he started to work with soundscape design at a solo exhibition of Mr. Noriyuki Misawa who is a shoe artist. He has also graduated from the Stylist Department at the Bunka Fashion College and is a certified Healer for German International Healing Association IAOH JAPAN.
