Joshua Duarte was born in Upland on April 29th 1992. No more information about his current home or lifestyle or personal life can be released. His compositions originally started as simple piano pieces, but then he started composing for the Stepmix Contest which is hosted by the administrators at Stepmania.com. His style for this type of music sounds like an attempt at J-pop but actually falls closer to techno. Also, a lot of his instrumental compositions were meant to sound like they were taken from a video game. This pulls his music toward the game genre. "I like to call this cross between different music MegaSonic, named after the song I wrote that started the entire thing." says Joshua Duarte on February 12th 2010. Joshua Duarte is in development of quite a few lyrical songs, inspired mostly by Secondhand Serenade. A demo of two of these songs have been released on Myspace.com.
