Andrew Jon Stevens (born November 27, 1986 in Saginaw, Michigan), better known by his stage name Jonny Stevens (a.k.a. A.Jon, Jonny Capone), is an American rapper. He began writing in 1998 at age 11. He was heavily influenced at a young age by artists such as DMX and Insane Clown Posse. His lyrics at this time were incredibly dark, and often disturbing. At the age of 13, Andrew finally began recording what he had been writing. Going by the name Awol, he recorded several demos and mixtapes, most never reaching the public, due to his refusal to share the highly introspective nature of his rhymes. In 2002, now going by A.Jon, Stevens recorded several demo albums, including “Wicked Intellect” and “Silence The Hateful;” and began passing out copies around his High School and surrounding areas. Soon after the release of “Son Of Man: The Reckoning,” a shift began to take place in the content of Andrew’s music. In 2006, A.Jon released “The REALity Series” in hopes of finally landing the support of labels. Constantly selling, and giving away copies of the album, and putting together a concert to support it led to very little response from listeners. Since 2008, Andrew, now known as Jonny Stevens, has released his own material, mainly focusing on the outer networking advantages of the internet and social networking sites. His songs have often did very well on the charts at soundclick.com, and garnered thousands of plays both at soundclick and myspace. Jonny Stevens has released 2
