Johannes Bonadies, or Godendach was a 15th century composer and author of a musical treatise. Bonadies is a Carmelite monk belonging to the Charterhouse of Ferrara and master of the famous Franchini Gaffurio. De Bonadies (or Godendach), his treatise Regulae cantus (1473) is kept in the Communal Library of Faenza , which contains a series of interesting practical exercises, quotations and extracts from earlier authors. The treatise is dated thus: “ Et sic finis ad laudem Dei per me Freni Jo. Bonadies in Conventu regii post Vesperas. 1474. 14. Seven" .
