about

Joe Valeriano Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Clapton: this is the musical universe where Joe Valeriano's voice and guitar are. He's at the top of the italian rock-blues music and he has been working for ten years with Kim Brown. He keeps on going his musical adventure by playing and singing in several music clubs where he gets deserved praise. Joe has been able to build his own space in such a difficult music scene as the italian one. There he can express his blues soul, supported by his feeling for his instrument - the unfailing Strato. Joe is known mostly for his Blues performances, but Rock music has always played a very important role in his life and career. In the last decade his passion for bands such as Pearl Jam and Alice In Chains has led him to create two albums, Parmatown and Furious, where Joe's pure rock soul finally comes out. As a solo artist he has produced four albums: "Elida", "Live" (a tribute to Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan), and the aforementioned "Furious" and "Parmatown". He has recorded and played with several artists like Grey Johnson, Willy Murphy, Lach, Kevin Montgomery & Pettibone, Dan Boccuzzi, Joe Colombo). Lately he has taken part in many important events, such as "Festival Blues in Alcamo", "Music in the Mediterran" (Bari), "Blues Parade 2000 in Milan", "Novara in Blues", "Women in Blues", Festival Blues "Cant' e magg", Rassegna Blues Leoncavallo 2000" Milan, "Piazza Blues 2001 Bellinzona" CH, "Rapperswill 2002" CH, "Magic Blues Vallemaggia

why this is interesting

# Joe Valeriano feat. Dante Boccuzzi This collaboration deserves consideration for its serious engagement with blues-rock tradition while maintaining genuine artistic voice. Valeriano's approach—rooted in the lineage of Hendrix and Clapton—demonstrates how deeply studied musicianship needn't feel derivative when paired with authentic conviction. The partnership with Dante Boccuzzi appears to deepen this exploration, suggesting a dialogue between complementary sensibilities rather than a simple feature arrangement. What emerges is music that respects the blues foundation while remaining curious about where that language might extend. In Italy's challenging music landscape, this represents work by musicians committed to craft over convenience, willing to spend
