Artist
The Jimmy Nipper Five (although there were actually only four of them) were a South London post-punk band that whose singles "Cream Coloured Walls" and "The Final" were included on Zygo Records "Influx One" various artist compilation LP in 1980. They were then featured on the "Got My Goat" compilation LP in 1981 with the single "Two Wasted Years". The band took their name as a backhanded tribute to jazz trombonist and Mingus sideman Jimmy Knepper .
