Formed in early 2003 by Brett Kasden, Christopher Thomas, and Troy Micheau, Jesus, Fuck the Sun sought to bring something to Las Vegas that didn't exist at the time: short, fast, and loud hardcore/powerviolence. After realizing that Las Vegas wasn't interested in such a thing, they took the show on the road, racking up 60+ mostly out of state shows during their short two year existence. After recording a demo and two eps that never saw the light of day, and a constantly changing cast of characters(including the departure of Troy), Brett and Chris let Jesus, Fuck the Sun go to sleep.
