Asshole Parade is a hardcore punk/thrash band from Gainesville, Florida with an aggressive style of playing that brings in influences primarily from old-school hardcore and grindcore, and more occasional nods to underground death/black metal. They share members with (among other Gainesville area bands) Strikeforce Diablo, Burnman and True North. The lyrics are typically libertarian/anti-authoritarian and anti-war, while the band tends to present itself with a rather tongue-in-cheek hardcore tough-guy image. Asshole Parade is, along with peers and influences such as Infest, Combatwoundedveteran and Fuck On The Beach, often labelled “power-violence” for their fierce, yet not overtly metallic, approach to hardcore. just check this band out because they are insanely cool/awesome/insanely awesome!
