Artist
Jeannie Larimore is a very obscure American singer, who - so it seems - never released a record of her own. However, she recorded a song called 'Johnny Won't Surf No More', which was written by a very young Lou Reed in 1964. Larimore's recording of it has popped up on a few compilations of forgotten Velvet Underground-related recordings (Pre-VU Preview, 2009) and early Lou Reed compositions (Why Don't You Smile Now: Lou Reed At Pickwick Records 1964–65, 2024).
