Jean Conflict was a group established in Tel Aviv, Israel in the 80's and was active for approximately 5 years before disbanded. Among the forming members were Minimal Compact members Malka Yo-Yo Shpiegel, Sammi Birenbach and some other famous musicians such as Berry Sakharof, Ronen Ben Tal and Rami Fortis. They defined the local New Wave sound of that time by merging Middle Eastern tunes with the typical 80's New Wave of these years. The result was a nice dark and ethereal sound, with great male (Rami Fortis) and female vocals.
