about

The release history of British mod garage band Jarvis Humby was all about delays. They recorded their début single, 'Get On Board My Train', in 1997, but due to delays it wasn't issued until March 1998. Their début full-length, Assume The Position was recorded in the years thereafter, but released as late as 2003 by Acid Jazz Records. A second album, Straighten Your Mind was recorded in 2006, but not released until 2020. Jarvis Humby were: Andy Smith (vocals, guitar), Mick Hepple (vocals, guitar, Hammond), Dave Heard (bass) and Trev Jordan (drums, percussion).
