Jansen & Kowalski were a duo from Hamburg (Germany). They consisted of Jansen: Florian Pfeifle (* 14. Juli 1978 in Hamburg) and Kowalski: Aram Pirmoradi (* 21. Juni 1979 in Boston (Massachusetts), USA) son of persian parents raised in Hamburg. Pfeile plays different instruments such as keyboard, piano, guitar, saxophon and banjo. Pirmoradi can play guitar and bass and was responsible for the singing. Jansen & Kowalski were already working together since the mid-90's in the band "Kinski" from Hamburg. In 2004 they founded their own band and released their first single "Action". Their second single was "Mamacita" and afterwards they released their third single "Wie geil ist das denn? (Dicke Anbiete)" together with "Das Bo". They also were support bands for "2raumwohnung" and "Seeed".
