Doppelkopf was a hip hop group from Hamburg, Germany, formed in 1996 by Falkadelic, Bubblez, and DJ Strip-Teaz. They released their first EP, "Vom Mond", in 1997. Their debut studio album, "Von Abseits", followed in 1998 and is considered an important release in German hip hop, featuring a track with Dendemann and Samy Deluxe. In 2001, the group disbanded while working on their second studio album. The reasons for the split were not publicly disclosed.
