Jan Gerfast is an "underground" blues musician who has toured Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Holland for many years. Jan Gerfast has his roots in the Blues, but he´s not a traditional bluesmusician, he has his own style. Heavy, suggestive grooves build the base over which he puts his vocals and guitar improvisations. He plays with a very intense bluesfeeling, straight on, no hesitation. Someone called the music Groovy Blues, someone said Psychedelic Blues... Jan Gerfast, guitarist, singer and composer, has been on the international blues and rock scene for a long time. He has developed his own unique style and sound: " Groovy Blues". If you enjoy listening to the guitar improvising over groovy blues riffs, this is it ! He has toured, recorded or jammed with international artists like : "Uncle" John Turner, "Big" Joe Turner, Angela Brown, Junior Wells, Willie "The Touch" Hayes, Erin Jaimes and many more.
