Eva Jagun is a singer and songwriter from near Cologne in Germany. She lives in Berlin. From the age of two she started singing and improvising on top of the piano of her father. Inspired by Bach, Oscar Peterson, Michel Legrand and what else her dad offered and played on the piano, her love for music grew. Her three sisters joined in and a little home-choir was founded. These early impression gave Eva a natural approach to music and made her to an asked for studio singer and live performer in the Berlin music-scene. From the age of 14 Eva joined in several choirs, bands and duos giving her a wide range of musical experiences. After her studies in Hamburg at the "Hochschule für Musik" (Popkurs), she decided to move to Berlin. She started working with several producers and live-performers and developed her own specific style. Her songs rarely draw from rational sources, but rather from the love of music and from a story that needs to be expressed.
