JD has been writing and performing since the age of 5 when he wrote his first song " Red White and Blue Stands for America". JD started winning awards for his talents in writing as early as 12 years old. From Grade School to High school JD Slayton concentrated on the love of his life "performing Arts" . JD Slayton was best known in High School as a talented thespian for his impersonation and vocal performance of Tevye from Fiddler on the roof. After high school Jason went to college graduating with a Psychology PHD. JD became a published author in 2005 and now has 2 books in publication. JD has always kept his first passion of music close to him, he has written many songs through out the years but only the last few years has he stopped doing all else and is only concentrating on a career in music. JD's first Album will be out the end of November 2008 and can be purchased at any digital download website, IE: Itunes...
