Ivo Victoria (1971) is a writer and singer, born in the Flemish part of Belgium but based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. His real name is Hans Van Rompaey. Van Rompaey was the singer of Flemish indie band, Kamino, between 1999 and 2004. After the demise of Kamino he started a writing career as Ivo Victoria. He published two acclaimed novels thusfar. 2012 saw the release of his first recorded song as Ivo Victoria: Rij, renner alleen, a contribution to De Sint Willebrord Sessies Vol. 1: Sporthuis Hubert, an album of songs about cycling.
