Island Cassettes are a worldbeat/indie rock band from Kent. Originally started as a solo project in 2011 it soon morphed into a full band. With influences ranging from indie rock, to folk, to french pop music and south african sokous the sound is percussive and harmony driven, with layered guitar and bass riffs. After self releasing some demo's their debut single 'Navajo' was eventually released on Kissability Records in 2014.
