Irianti as a child was a national swimmer, who became a dancer in her teens , and won a grand prize winner as songwriter in 1983 , and become a singer , and recently from 2003 up to today 2010 she already published 7 books as an author. Her musical career was started by winning a national songwriting contest where then led her signed for recording contract as a singer as well. She most known by her single title of "Ada Kamu".
