January Christy (17 January 1958 – 16 September 2016) is an Indonesian singer who has a unique voice and is famous for the song "Melayang" by the 2D jazz band – Dian Pramana Poetra and Deddy Dhukun. Christy has a very unique vocal color, sounds thick and heavy for the alto type, sometimes even mistaken for a male voice. She has released four albums, including Melayang (1986), Aku Ini Punya Siapa (1987), Mana (1989) and Tutup Mata (1990).
