about

The members were born in and around 1979 in the hometown of scandinavian prog and psychedelia, and so as babies were fed with the music of Made in Sweden, November, Änglagård and Fläsket Brinner. Later on bands like Black Sabbath, King Crimson and Gentle Giant were added to the mix, as well as newer acts like Big Elf, Dungen and Mars Volta. Their paths crossed in and around the year 2000 and they began rehearsing in an attic, creating psychedelic jams and started collecting curious instruments and pedals. In the following years melodies were born during happy nights in various locations in the Stockholm suburbs, with scandinavian beer, a growing heap of vintage instruments and an old tape recorder that captured interesting parts of the never ending jams. With great patience the best parts were then glued together, building not only songs, but small complex worlds of melodies and fuzzy sounds. Now, after almost a decade, their debut album is finished. It is a record of diversity, spanning from the heavy stoner guitars in ”The marriage of mr Teeth and ms Knuckles” to the mellow flute mellotrons in ”Kids, don’t run”, from the psychedelic rock madness of ”Merry Sherry” to the space trippin’ ballad of ”Ither Sode”. The band still makes music in their quarters just south of Stockholm, and with the same old tape recorder recording as much as ever, new melodies and riffs are being born by the hour. Introduction has had lift-off, and the universe will never be the same again. Th
