Live at Casa de Lafões, Lisboa and Fábrica de Som, Porto Portugal 2007 LISBOA, The First Night: On this unusually warm night in November, a crowd is gathered at Casa de Lafões. (Historically a place of warmth and welcome for those moving the capital from their northern Portuguese communities), to listen to two wandering musicians. It is the feast of St. Martin and to the sound of crunching chestnuts and autumn leaves the musicians unravel their songs of dreams and journeying. PORTO, The Second Night: The auburn autumnal colours of the first concert are replaced by the deep blue of Porto - its clear maritime air and rich mystique. Even the setting is a blue room at the Fábrica de Som. Old mingles with new, the atmosphere becomes timeless as musical colours and nuances of the words wash over us as in a dream.
