Ichiro Nodaira (野平一郎, Nodaira Ichirō, *1953) is a composer and pianist, who studied at the National University of Art and Music in Tokyo. He later continued studying at the Conservatoire Naional Supérieur de Musique in Paris, where he won major prizes. In 1985 he joined IRCAM (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique) and premiered many new works both at IRCAM and with other leading ensembles in Europe as a pianist.
